Jen Steiner is a wife, mom, attorney and author working on her debut middle-grade novel.

The daughter of a Jamaican father and African American mother, Jen tells stories that expand readers’ understanding of the American experience to include families like hers. She is a graduate of Virginia State University and Howard University School of Law.

Jen’s a former All-American Track and Field athlete who still runs (just a tad slower). When she’s not writing, Jen loves sappy holiday romance movies, DOMINATING her family in ping pong and volunteering. Jen, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her hubby and two children.
